Katarzyna Pawelec is a Speech Therapy Specialist. She graduated from University of Bialystok, Poland in 2004. She then started working for Postgraduate College of Speech Therapy and Communicational Pragmatics in Warsaw. At the same time she was taking care of children with special educational needs. This way she learnt to use Paul Dennison’s Educational Kinesiology method for therapy purposes. She was also using creativity psycho pedagogy speech therapy prophylaxis. Her main focus was on these children that suffered for speech disorders and communication difficulties.

In the following years she worked as a counsellor and therapist for kids with dyslexia and general difficulties with reading and writing. Katarzyna Pawelec also created individual and group teaching programmes for children with speech disorders and stuttering. She also practised as a licensed Speed Reading coach of SENSUS method. Since 2006 she has been running speech therapies for Polish kids residing in Ireland.

Ms Pawelec presents broad professional horizons containing many subjects associated with speech therapy – Developmental Psychology, Artetherapy and Educational Kinesiology to mention but a few. She participated in many courses and conferences wit reference to diagnosing and therapeutical methods within her profession.
