He began his career in 1991 after having graduated from Silesian Medical Academy. He first was enrolled onto a placement practice and then he started working for Miners Healthcare Complex in Swietochlowice, Poland. In 1992 he started working for an Emergency Unit in Chorzow and 4th Public Hospital surgery at a Surgery Ward. He continued both occupations until 2000. In 1999 he obtained II degree of in General Surgery. In the years 1996-1997 he run courses for family doctors at Silesian Medical Academy.

From the year 2000 he was working as a senior assistant for a Surgery Ward at a Town Hospital in Chorzow. It was this part of his career that consolidated his laparoscopy surgery skills specialising in haemorrhoids extracting but also performing surgeries on urinary and digestive system organs. During his practice Dr. Micinski always liaised with surgery patients working as a consultant and carrying out minor surgical procedures (statistically around 4000 yearly). He was also involved in training younger doctors.

From the year 2000 he also worked in his own private surgical practice an between 2001 and 2004 was seeing patients in a few private clinics around Chorzow. In the year 2005 he moved to the UK where worked for Little Aston BUPA Hospital. Since January 2008 he has been working for Medicus.

As all of Medicus's specialists Dr. Micinski is constantly deepening his theoretical knowledge and practical skills - he attends conferences, takes up courses exploring his field of medical knowledge. He can easily communicate in English, Russian and French. In his spare time he practices cross-country running and loves going to the cinema (only watching good films though).
