Dr. Sochacka is a medical doctor of three specialities recognized by both British and Irish Medical Council. She works as a paediatrician GP and Endocrinologist. She holds a distinctive II degree speciality in Paediatrics supported by 20 years of practice in Poland. Therein she worked as an Assistant Head of the Allergology and Endocrinology Ward at Children's Hospital in Dziekanow Lesny, Poland. Dr. Sochacka, as many doctors in Poland, worked as a family doctor for many years. Her practice in Ireland now adds to three years of which she spent two last ones working in Medicus. She is well familiar with Irish healthcare system.

Dr. Sochacka was gaining endocrinological experience during ten years of treating adults as well as children with a focus on thyroid dysfunctions, diabetes growth disorders, osteoporosis and hypophysis illnesses. Her experience in this field of medical knowledge was consolidated by cooperation with two well-known clinics in Warsaw where she worked as a key consultant.

Dr. Sochacka's field interests:

• Circulatory system and vessels diseases: coronary disease – electrocardiographic examination, cardiac insufficiency, Cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders, arterial hypertension, arteriosclerosis, varicose veins of the lower extremities

• Gastrointestinal tract diseases: stomach and duodenum ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux, cholecystolithiasis, intestines, liver and pancreas diseases, haemorrhoids

• Endocrine and metabolic disorders: diabetes, thyroid disorders, gout, lipid disorders, electrolyte disorders
