Dr Malgorzata Basinska, MD, PhD, Internal Medicine Specialist, General Practitioner

If I could do anything about this, I would make health contagious instead of an illness. Robert Gren Ingersoll

Dr Małgorzata Basińska began her professional path from her studies at Medical Academy of Wroclaw, which she sucesfully terminated in a year 2000. After she received a Medical Doctor Diploma she entered the stage of intensive professional progression and started internship as a General Practicioner in a Lower Silesian Medical Centre DOLMED, which was continued between 2002 and 2003. At the same time, on from 2002, Dr Basińska started up with a medical residency at the Department of Internal Medicine and Allergology at Medical Academy of Wroclaw, which allowed her to commence from 2004 her medical research. This led to receiving in 2008 her Doctoral Degree in Internal Medicine and Allergology and obtaining a Specialist Degree In Internal Medicine in 2009.

Before joining our medical team in Medicus Medical Centre Dr Basińska worked in the positions of an Assistant in the Department of Dietetics, an Internal Medicine Doctor in EuroMediCare Medical Institute in Wroclaw, Poland, and earlier on the same post in Medicover Globis Centre, also located in Wroclaw. To gain further competence and experience she participated in several trainings, courses and professional residencies, among others in Sweden, Swizzerland and UK. She has also developed her expertise through attending conferences and congresses, as well as winning awards and grants for her scientific work submitted to take part in medical competitions.

Although Dr Basińska is strongly dedicated to her professional life, she also bears in mind the question of her personal development. She brought this concept to life by taking part in a cycle of training sessions ”Euroqualifications”, which aimed at improving some of the most valuable interpersonal skills, such as efficient patient – doctor communication, teamwork and time management. Furthermore Dr Basińska is able to communicate fluently in English and Russian, as well as speaks a little German. She spends her free time looking after her personal wellbeing – she is keen on some quite challenging physical activities such as volleyball or nordic walking.
